When I was a young girl, I desperately wanted a pair of clogs. I remember going to our local shoe store, The Footbridge, to try on a pair. Alas, my feet were too small and so it was no clogs for me. I’ve recently become obsessed with them again, thanks to Free People and their fantastic assortment. The leather is supple, the wood is gorgeous, and they are the perfect shoe for transitioning from summer to fall (not that I’m in any hurry for the leaves to start changing). Here are my favorites-how can you not love them?!?!

I have a new style inspiration and her name is Linda Rodin.
For all you women that think you have to think, look, and act a certain way just because you’re a little older, Linda is proof-positive you can be super cool at any age. Now in her sixties, she is one of the most stylish and cool women around.
Linda modeled briefly in her twenties, but really hit her stride as a stylist for Henri Bendel and then as a fashion editor for Harper’s Bazaar. She now works as a freelance stylist (one of the best) and is a major skincare guru. She created her world known Olio Lusso facial oil in her bathroom because she was disillusioned with the skincare products on the market. The Rodin brand is expanding and has a cult following. She only uses her products on her face (with the exception of her signature lipstick), has never colored her hair (which turned grey in her thirties), and believes simple is better.
I’m not normally a fan of Miley Cyrus, but I might start changing my tune. She was absolutely flawless at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy party. Her shimmery slip dress paired with a pink Calvin Klein 2014 Pre-Fall jacket was like a little slice of heaven. And the hair! Obviously I’m a fan of the pixie so I’m very glad to see she’s decided to keep it. The platinum color worked perfectly with subtle makeup. She looked elegant, sexy, and very put-together. Now this is a Miley I can get behind!
Another awards show has come and gone and the ladies did not disappoint. I adored Michelle Dockery’s black and white gown. Jennifer Lawrence was dazzling. Lupita Nyong’o wowed in blue while a pregnant Kerry Washington dared to bare in a lovely pink crop top. But my favorite of the evening was Cate Blanchett. Her icy pink gown was simply scrumptious.
