Hi! I’m Megan Gergen Ebert, a freelance stylist, retail industry veteran and student trying to figure out how to have it all (if you know the secret let me know!). I fell in love with my husband twenty two years ago when he told me he liked my hair (I mean how could I not?) and we are the proud parents of a 21 year old kitty named Daphne.

I started this blog in 2012 when I was at a crossroads in my career. After years of people asking me for fashion and beauty advice I decided to throw my knowledge out to the universe and hopefully help and inspire those who were interested. And then I became far too busy. As a working stylist I was focused more on dressing other people, not posting #ootd. And so this little blog went dormant. See? There it is-that work/life balance thing we all struggle with. Am I right?

So why am I back? I’m turning 50 this year. 50! And I realized that there isn’t a lot out there for women of a certain age. We aren’t 20 (thank God) but we don’t feel 50 either. We are hard working women with families, passions, dreams, and hot flashes. We want that youthful glow without the drama that goes along with said youth. We want to look on point, not ridiculous. We want to enjoy life, have balance (especially hormonal) and giggle with our friends. In short-we want it all. We deserve it. We’ve earned it. My dream for this blog is to be a place where people of any age can come for ideas, some laughs, and offer their take on life, aging, and living their best self.

  1. This portrait is amazing! It actually looks like a photograph, the detailing is impeccable! I’m an artist in my spare time, but I don’t think I could ever produce work as beautiful as this!

    Stay stylish Megan,

    The Image Mistress, xoxo
