When One Door Closes…

Hi Everyone!

I have some good news and some not good news. Yesterday I began a new journey in my career. I am now an Executive Personal Shopper and Stylist for a major retailer. However, with this new career comes some decisions. I do feel that this blog is or could be a conflict of interest. Any retailer would not want one of their executives blogging about competitors or products they don’t carry. So, Style Meganzine either needs to change or go away. I love doing this blog and am very conflicted as to what I should do regarding it.
The current format will not work, so I am trying to figure out a way to bring you great fashion, beauty, and lifestyle information without conflicting with my employer. I would hate to see it go away completely, but it may come to that. I would welcome any ideas and suggestions you may have. I can tell you that I won’t have the time to do a daily blog and I need some time to re-evaluate.
I have loved every minute of this blog and sharing with you my inspiration, product knowledge and advice.
If any of you are interested in learning more about the FREE personal shopping and styling services I will be offering, please email me. I can answer any questions and even set up an appointment with you. Whether you need one outfit or a complete wardrobe, gifts, or just someone to shop with, I’m your girl. I am very excited about this opportunity and look forward to developing many wonderful client relationships. Please direct questions or interest to: mgergenebert@gmail.com

  1. Megan, I read your blog every day and have saved quite a few to refer
back to. I enjoy your writing as much as the styles and will certainly miss your daily blogs. I am excited for your new adventure and know you will be a fabulous personal shopper!

  2. Megan, I am so excited for your new adventure to take flight! However, I think your writing is too good to simply go away. I encourage you to find some new twist that enables you to continue with this creative outlet. Perhaps incorporating the experiences of your new career. I’d love to hear about the challenges and rewards in the day of a personal shopper. The whole concept of PS has alway frightened me a little. Perhaps through your words I would evolve to give it a try.

  3. Megan – I totally agree with Shirley and Laura. You are a great inspiration to all of us who have gotten to enjoy your writting and recommendations in your blog. You will definately have to figure out a way to continue inspiring us all. Thanks for your suggestions. I have used many of them because I have faith in you. I look forward to coming home after work and reading your blog.
I’m so excited for you and your new adventure and believe you will have a great following! Much success to you my friend.
