I’m a big bath taker. I can spend hours reading and relaxing, but it’s also when I do my more luxurious beauty rituals-like masks. Masks are one of those products we often forget about, but are also one of the products most beneficial to our skin. They can hydrate, exfoliate, oxygenate, and clear out those pores. One of my favorites is Origins Clear Improvement. This mask contains activated charcoal which acts as a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers. White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins while Lecithin dissolves impurities like dirt and other debris. I use it (or try to) once a week during bath time. I put a warm, moist towel on my face for a few minutes and then apply the mask. Now, don’t be afraid of the charcoal black color, it won’t stain anything. Relax as it dries and then rinse off. You’ll be left with skin that glows and has new clarity, and pores that are smaller and clearer. And I know most of you will say you’re too busy, but come on, you deserve it!
Origins Clear Improvement $22 (for all skin types)

Hi Meghan, just a quick note to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I have been a reader for a couple of months (thanks to your Aunt Jill). Your information is well written, informative, and just the right length. I have accumulated quite a purse full of printed “blogs”! I will be passing Style Magazine information onto my friends and family.
Thank you so much. While I love doing the blog, it’s nice to know people enjoy it and are getting something out of it!
megan- send me some of your cards please and i will pass them around to interested people.
Ok-thanks!
I love using activated charcoal. I haven’t tried it in a masque yet, but I do use it in my homemade soap. It’s great at removing impurities from the skin! I just wrote about my own experiment with activated charcoal on my own blog. http://wp.me/p1BAZi-8P
I’ll have to check it out!
