It is truly awards season. I thought I’d choose the talented ladies who graced the carpet at the Critic’s Choice Awards Thursday night as my style inspiration this week. They all looked beautiful, but these ladies really captured that Hollywood glamour I so crave.
Elle Fanning in Rodarte. Very appropriate for her age, this young starlet wowed in a yellow print. The loose flowing hair complimented the dress perfectly.
Elizabeth Olsen in Emilio Pucci. I’ve always loved Pucci and this dress fits her personality. She is definitely a style setter like her sisters, but is more classic.
Diane Kruger. Well, yellow may take over as the “it” color for awards season. Diane always gets it right. From the hair to the accessories, she is total style.
Michelle Williams in Chanel. This lady hits it out of the park every time. I like the darker hair. It’s hard to make short hair look fresh, so playing with color is essential.
Kirsten Dunst in Dior. This girl can often look a mess, but she really pulled it together for this event. I love the length on her and the hair is great.
Charlize Theron. Stunning is the only word that comes to mind. I adore this dress and it’s layers. It fits her like a glove. Minimal accessories lets the dress hold center court.
Evan Rachel Wood. This dress has amazing detail. She looks very pretty and grown up. And again, minimal accessories lets the dress do all the talking.
Busy Phillips. This is a wonderful cut for her. She looks very glamorous, and the red is a perfect compliment to her coloring.
Emma Stone. She is having her year and has moved from teen queen to serious actress flawlessly. She looks stunning in green, knows it, and makes it work for her.
Jessica Chastain. As a red head, if you’re not going green, pink is the other choice. I love the style of this dress and it really works for her.
Thank you ladies for proving Hollywood still has glamour and style.
All of these stylish superstars look absolutely stunning – totally agree with all your Hollywood glamour picks, though the ladies who absolutely blew me away, were Emma Stone in that sublime flowing green maxi, which complements here rich copper-coloured hair & porcelain skin perfectly; Michelle Williams in Chanel; Charliez Theron – with both her incredibly glamorous, layered black dress which shows of her fabulous figure, AND her amazing plaited up-do; and finally – Ms Diane Kruger! If I could afford to buy that dress I’d snap it up in a second!
Wonderful style inspiration from this post!! Stay stylish, xoxo 🙂
What about Angelilna Jolie? the fit! the look!
I liked the dress-that was amazing-but I couldn’t get past those two big red lips!! She’s better with a neutral lip color (in my opinion).
so many great dresses. love charlize, elizabeth, and elle’s picks…stunning! xx
