Food and Furniture in Uptown

This past summer my friend Ame and I decided to go for a walk around Lake of the Isles. Somehow, we took a detour and ended up at Isles Bun and Coffee. Ame had told me they had the best cinnamon buns and I decided to see for myself. Amazing!! The buns are so large and so delectable. They are hand made every morning from scratch, as are all the other savory treats they offer. I went with the fruit coffee cake-delish!

After we stuffed ourselves silly, we decided to check out the furniture store next door. We walked around in amazement. The furniture was so well made and so affordable. Nadeau is really a hidden treasure. They offer rustic, handmade, unique, shabby chic pieces from India and Indonesia at wholesale prices.
